** Shares in Brazilian planemaker Embraer EMBJ3.SA rise more than 4.5% after it secured an order from Finnish flag carrier Finnair FIA1S.HE
** Embraer is among the top gainers on Sao Paulo's Bovespa stock index .BVSP, which is up 2%
** Finnair placed a firm order for 18 E195-E2 jetliners, with options for 16 additional aircraft and purchase rights for a further 12
** The move deals a further blow to Airbus AIR.PA as Embraer's E2 family outsells the European rival's A220
** JPMorgan analysts estimate the firm order portion to total around $1.5 billion at list prices, or $1.0 billion assuming a 35% discount
** They say the order should improve investor sentiment on Embraer and ease concerns on backlog following market skepticism regarding new orders due to geopolitical tensions
** Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, and the order will be added to Embraer's first-quarter backlog
