Emcor rises on upbeat 2025 revenue forecast, additional buyback authorization

** Shares of construction and engineering firm Emcor Group EME.N up 7.5% at $427.80

** Company forecasts 2025 revenue to be between $16.1 billion and $16.9 billion, above analysts' estimate of $15.79 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG

** EME's U.S. mechanical construction segment benefited from investments in building information modeling, prefabrication, and digital tools, while U.S. electrical construction segment had strong demand in the data center market

** EME authorizes additional $500 million share repurchase under its existing program

** Company expects 2025 EPS in the range of $22.25 to $24.00 vs analysts' expectation of $22.89

** Posts fouth-quarter revenue of $3.77 billion and EPS of $6.32

** Stock gained 110.7% in 2024, but is down 5.97% YTD
