Mpox vaccine developer GeoVax extends gains, rival Tonix Pharma jumps

** Shares of micro-cap companies developing vaccines for
mpox surge in premarket trading
    ** Shares of GeoVax Labs  GOVX.O  jump ~55% to $10.90, while
those of Tonix Pharmaceutical Holding  TNXP.O  up 34.9% at 60
cents 
    ** Stocks of companies involved in the mpox response have
gained in recent weeks as concerns over an outbreak of the virus
rise 
    ** GOVX shares more than doubled on Friday, giving it a
market cap of ~$37 mln 
    ** TNXP, which had a market cap of $9.8 mln as of last
close, said on Friday it will advance the development of its
mpox vaccine "with urgency"; however its shares closed lower on
the session after an intraday jump 
    ** Shares of Emergent BioSolutions  ABS.N , which makes a
smallpox vaccine that was previously used against mpox, also up
6.1% at $11.39 premarket 
    ** Meanwhile, Denmark-listed shares of Bavarian Nordic
 BAVA.CO  fall after a surge on Friday
