Aussie tech stocks rise after upbeat U.S. earnings lift Nasdaq

** Australian tech stocks  .AXIJ  climb as much as 2.2%,
extending gains to a second straight session 
    ** The sub-index is set for its best day since April 5, if
gains hold
    ** AXIJ tracks overnight gains in its Wall Street peers as a
strong earning season offset worries about the U.S economy's
contraction in the first quarter  .N 
    ** ASX-listed shares of Block Inc  SQ2.AX  rise up to 1.1%,
while Wisetech Global  WTC.AX  jumps as much as 3.2%
    ** Payments solution provider EML Payments  EML.AX  leaps
nearly 7%, leading the gains on the sub-index 
    ** As of last close, AXIJ down 24.7% this year, compared to
a 1.2% decline on the benchmark ASX 200  .AXJO
