("Empiric" or the "Company" or, together with its subsidiaries, the "Group")
DIVIDEND DECLARATION
Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the owner and operator of premium
student accommodation serving key UK universities, is pleased to declare an
interim dividend in respect of the quarter ended 31 December 2021 of 0.625
pence per ordinary share.
This dividend is payable on 25 March 2022 to shareholders on the register at 4
March 2022. The ex-dividend date will be 3 March 2022. This dividend will be
paid as a Property Income Distribution ("PID") in respect of the Company's
tax-exempt property rental business.
The Company continues to target a dividend of at least 2.5 pence per ordinary
share for its financial year 2022 and expects dividends to be fully covered,
paid quarterly and progressive in nature. It plans to increase its dividend
target as occupancy levels normalise( (1)).
