BUZZ-India's eMudhra slides 32% in two days on security incident ** eMudhra EMUD.NS slides almost 15% to a nearly seven-month low of 368.75 rupees
** Tumbled 20% on Wednesday after Indian Computer Emergency Response Team issues advisory stating compromise of some of eMudhra's intermediate certificates
** "An attacker able to exploit compromised TLS (Transport Layer Security) private keys could issue fraudulent TLS certificates and potentially impersonate legitimate websites or intercept or modify data exchanged between users and servers" - advisory
** EMUD, which issues digital signatures to authenticate browsers, says it is working to establish root cause
** Ministry of Electronics and IT says special team constituted to investigate
** Co says affected global business accounts for around 1% of revenue, but compromise may have some reputational risks which cannot be quantified
** YTD, EMUD down 35%
