RNS Number : 6282I EnSilica PLC 24 November 2025
24 November 2025
EnSilica plc
("EnSilica", the "Company" or the "Group")
New $1.4m Purchase Order for next phase of Satellite Payload ASIC
EnSilica plc (AIM: ENSI), a leading chip maker of mixed-signal ASICs
(Application Specific Integrated Circuits), is pleased to announce that it has
received a US$1.4 million purchase order for the next phase of development of
a satellite payload ASIC (the "Order") following completion of an initial
feasibility study, as referenced in the Company's announcement of 3 November
2025.
The Order progresses the programme into the next phase of developing a
satellite payload ASIC for a global satellite service operator. Execution of
the Order will commence next month, with the associated Non-Recurring
Engineering ("NRE") revenue recognised within the current financial year.
The Order increases the Company's contractual coverage against its FY26
revenue guidance. EnSilica expects that the full satellite payload ASIC
programme associated with this Order will be worth several millions of US
dollars over FY27 and FY28, should it continue to progress as anticipated.
Ian Lankshear, Chief Executive Officer of EnSilica, commented:
"We are delighted to have secured this further development order within
satellite communications from an existing customer, which marks a significant
step towards commitment to a full project. The Order reinforces our position
as a leading independent supplier of payload communication ASICs, which remain
highly complex, requiring advanced digital signal processing and Radio
Frequency expertise."
