Australia's Endeavour Group eyes worst session in 10 months after profit outlook miss

** Shares of Australia's Endeavour Group EDV.AX slump 5.5% to A$3.60, set for weakest trading session since late February

** Hotel and drinks retailer forecast first-half profit before tax between A$400 million and A$411 million, missing Visible Alpha consensus expectations by -7.5% at the mid-point, according to Citi

** Citi says, although top-line trends in retail are improving, they're still underwhelming, as improvement is partially driven by discounting

** However, Citi notes co's hotels segment remains resilient with earnings in line with VA Consensus

** Stock fell 12.9% in 2025, and is down 0.6% YTD
