Australian retailers drop as November retail sales miss estimates

** Australian consumer staples retailers  .AXSJ  fall as
much as 1.2%, their biggest intraday percentage decline since
Nov 11, 2024
    ** The sub-index hits its lowest level since Dec 23, 2024
    ** Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed
retail sales rose in November 2024 on Black Friday boost, but
missed forecasts
    ** Retail giants Woolworths  WOW.AX  and Coles  COL.AX  drop
up to 1.4% and 1.1%, respectively 
    ** Pub operator Endeavour Group  EDV.AX  falls as much as
2.1%
    ** The consumer staples' sub-index lost 4.4% in 2024
