      In accordance with the provisions of article 228 of the Spanish       Securities Markets Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby publishes the following    
      SIGNIFICANT EVENT    
      Endesa, S.A. ("ENDESA"), through Enel Green Power Espaa, SL (EGPE), a       wholly owned subsidiary of Endesa Generacin, S.A., was awarded 339 MW       of solar power capacity in the auction held today by the Ministry for       Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda.    
      ENDESA intends to invest approximately Euro 270 million on construction       of the solar capacity awarded. Once built and commissioned, the solar       capacity will generate approximately 640 GWh of power a year.
