ENDRA Life Sciences soars after securing $4.9 million funding

** Shares of medical device maker ENDRA Life Sciences NDRA.O rise 62.2% to $10.46 premarket

** Company says it had secured $4.9 million in commitments from institutional and cryptocurrency investors through a private placement to fund a new digital asset treasury strategy

** Company plans to invest in high-conviction decentralized finance (DeFi) assets managed by Arca Investment Management, starting with tokens tied to perpetual futures protocols

** Proceeds will also support its liver disease imaging study

** Investors will receive 744,340 shares of common stock or prefunded warrants, along with warrants to purchase up to 1.49 million shares at $6.32 each

** If all warrants are exercised, ENDRA could raise an additional $14.4 million, it says

** ENDRA also says it intends to appoint Arca CIO Jeff Dorman to its digital asset advisory board

** As of last close, stock up 3.5% YTD
