Poland - Factors to Watch Jan 5

WARSAW, Jan 5 - The following are news stories, press
reports and events that may affect Poland's financial markets on

    DATA
    Poland's statistics office to publish its December CPI flash
data at 0900. 
    
    DEBT
    Poland sold 10- and 20-year bonds worth 3.75 billion
euro($4.10 billion), its finance ministry said in a statement on
Thursday. 
    Poland's finance ministry will publish results of Friday's
bonds sale auction at 1030. 
    
    SECURITY
    Northrop Grumman Corporation  NOC.N  wants to offer Poland
an early warning system that has successfully carried out
intelligence tasks for Ukraine, and talk about modern
surveillance systems, the company's CEO Kathy Warden was quoted
as saing by Rzeczpospolita daily. 
    
    CD PROJEKT  CDR.WA 
    Polish video games producer CD Projekt has sold over 5.0
million copies of "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" in 2023, the
company said on social media platform X on Thursday. 
    
    TAURON POLSKA ENERGIA  TPE.WA , ARCELORMITTAL  MT.LU 
    Tauron Polska Energia sees risks of dispute with
Luxembourg-based AM Global regarding the sale of its stake in
Tameh Holding, which could lead to a lack of payment in the
previously set period, the Polish utility said in a statement on
Thursday. 
    On Tuesday, Tauron said it had accepted an offer from
ArcelorMittal's leading partner AM Global Holding, under which
the Polish utility would sell all of its 3.3 million shares in
Tameh Holding for 598.1 million zlotys ($150.35 million).
    Steelmaker ArcelorMittal on Wednesday denied buying out
Tauron from their joint venture.

    Lawsuits against Enea's former managers regarding the
construction of the Ostroleka coal-fired power plant are based
on a legal opinion, which was also the basis for the decision on
the amount of the claims, the utility's CEO Pawel Majewski was
