POLISH-BRITISH TREATY
UK Minister for European Affairs Stephen Doughty said that he expects the UK to sign a new treaty on strategic relations with Poland later this year, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
ENEA
The head of ENEA ENAE.WA, a Polish energy company, said that leaving coal-fired power plants in the group is not a problem, and announced the acceleration of investments, the construction of gas-fired power plants and the expansion of renewable energy sources, Puls Biznesu daily reported.
MODLIN AIRPORT
From December 2025, Ryanair RYA.I will no longer be the only carrier operating from Poland's Modlin Airport. Air Arabia AIRA.DU will also fly from there, and other airlines may return, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.

On Monday, the National Bank of Poland will release its balance of payments data for May. Analysts polled by Reuters estimate that the current account deficit in May was 785 million zlotys ($214.0 million), compared to a deficit of 374 million zlotys ($102.3 million) in April.
