Final Investment Decision of 32MW Solar Park in Estonia

 

Eesti Energia Group's renewable subsidiary Enefit Green has taken final
investment decision regarding a 32MW Purtse solar park in Estonia. Total
investment to the solar park is projected to amount 19.5 million euros. Purtse
solar farm is part of Estonia's first large-scale hybrid wind and solar
solution that uses the same grid connection point as Group's 21MW Purtse wind
farm, the investment decision of which was made at the end of January 2022.
 Once operational, the 32MW Purtse solar park is expected to produce annually
ca 32GWh of electricity, an equivalent of ca 10,000 average Estonian
households. The project is expected to be commissioned in Q2 2023 and it is
part of Group's near-term project pipeline to quadruple its renewable
installed electricity generation capacity to 1,900 MW by 2026.
