Energy Fuels to produce heavy rare earth element oxides; shares rise

** Shares of miner Energy Fuels UUUU.A rise 1% to $8.3 premarket

** Company says it is piloting Dysprosium (Dy) oxide production at its White Mesa Mill in Utah, and expects to produce first kilogram of the heavy rare earth metal within 30 days

** Pilot scale production to continue until end of September 2025, at which time it expects to have produced nearly 15 kg

** Dy is used in the production of alloys and permanent magnets

** UUUU also expects to have produced one kg of Terbium on a pilot scale by the end of November 2025

** As of last close, shares are up 60.62% YTD
