Feb 22 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on
Thursday:

    ** Australia's CSR Ltd  CSR.AX  shares rose a further 5% as
the building products maker came into play following a A$4.30
billion ($2.81 billion) non-binding takeover proposal from
France's Saint-Gobain  SGOB.PA .

    ** Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters said she was "deeply
opposed" to Capital One Financial's  COF.N  $35.3 billion
planned acquisition of Discover Financial  DFS.N  and called on
banking regulators to block the deal.

    ** German food delivery company Delivery Hero  DHER.DE  said
that the ongoing talks for the potential sale of its foodpanda
business in selected markets in Southeast Asia have been
terminated.

    ** U.S. investment advisory firm Curi RMB Capital said it
demands that Japan Aviation Electronics  6807.T  and its
majority shareholder NEC Corp  6701.T  cancel the ongoing tender
offer and reconsider alternative buyout offers they have
received.

    ** U.S. energy firm Chord Energy  CHRD.O  said that it would
acquire Canada's Enerplus  ERF.TO , creating a combined company
with an enterprise value of $11 billion.

    ** BuzzFeed  BZFD.O  said it has sold publisher Complex to
live-video shopping app NTWRK in a $108.6 million all-cash deal,
as the digital media outlet looks to enhance its profitability.
