    - U.S. energy firm Chord Energy  CHRD.O  said on Wednesday
it would acquire Canada's Enerplus  ERF.TO , creating a
Williston basin-focused entity with an enterprise value of $11
billion.
    
    - Ed Clark, a vice president for Boeing's  BA.N  737 program
and general manager in charge of the factory that built the jet
involved in last month’s door-plug blowout is leaving the
company amid a broader leadership shake-up.
    
    - Electric vehicle maker Rivian  RIVN.O  said on Wednesday
it would cut 10% of its workforce amid an effort to cut costs, a
move aimed at achieving profitability by the end of the year. 
    
    - The U.S. government under the Biden administration plans
to invest billions in the domestic manufacturing of cargo
cranes, seeking to counter fears of potential national-security
risk amid the use of China-built cranes with advanced software
