Too early to seek additional partner in Venezuela, Eni CEO says
Too early to seek additional partner in Venezuela, Eni CEO says ROME, Oct 27 (Reuters) - It is too early to think about an additional partner for Venezuela's Perla gas field, the Chief Executive of Italian energy group Eni Claudio Descalzi said on Tuesday.
"It is still premature... first we have to start working for the development (of the field), then we will see if there is space for another one. For the moment it is not in our plans," Descalzi told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference in Rome.
The Perla offshore field in Venezuela is a 50-50 joint venture between Eni and Spain's Repsol REP.MC, operated by local company Cardón IV.
