Enlivex Therapeutics sinks after mid-stage study data for lead therapy

** U.S.-listed shares of Israel-based Enlivex Therapeutics
 ENLV.TA  fall 50.5% to $1.97      
    ** Co reports data from a mid-stage study testing its lead
cell therapy candidate, Allocetra, in patients with sepsis  
    ** Sepsis is a serious condition that happens when the
body's immune system has an extreme response to an infection
    ** Patients in the Allocetra treatment group showed 20%
higher frequency of septic shock - most severe stage of sepsis -
and 35% higher frequency of invasive ventilation prior to
treatment compared to placebo - ENLV
    ** Imbalances between placebo and Allocetra treatment groups
made it challenging to deduce the relative effect in other
patient subgroups - ENLV
    ** Including session's move, U.S.-listed stock down 28% YTD
