       Aug 21 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on
Wednesday:

        ** U.S. private equity firm KKR's  KKR.N  affiliate,
Esoteric, will sell a 17.3% stake in India Grid Trust (IndiGrid)
 IGTR.NS  for $213.6 million, the Indian investment firm said.

        ** Pipeline operator Enterprise Products Partners
 EPD.N  said it will buy smaller peer Pinon Midstream for $950
million in cash to expand its natural gas infrastructure.

        ** Arch Resources  ARCH.N  agreed to merge with Consol
Energy  CEIX.N  in an all-stock deal to create a North American
coal mining giant that will be valued at more than $5 billion.

        ** Japan Tobacco  2914.T  (JT) agreed to acquire Vector
Group  VGR.N , the fourth largest tobacco company in the United
States, the Japanese company said, in an equity transaction

        ** Walmart  WMT.N , the biggest shareholder of Chinese
e-commerce firm JD.com  9618.HK   JD.O , has sold its entire
stake, according to a person familiar with the matter, exiting
an eight-year investment to focus on its own operations in
China.

    ** British transport company Mobico  MCG.L  said it has
initiated the sale process for its North American school bus
business in an attempt to cut debt.
