April 9 (Reuters) - EOG Resources EOG.N on Thursday raised its outlook for first-quarter 2026 current tax expense to between $500 million and $600 million.
The oil and gas producer said the higher tax outlook reflected stronger crude prices realized in the first quarter and expected for the full year, driven by the conflict in the Middle East.
EOG had earlier forecast its current tax expense in the range of $230 million to $330 million.
