US shale producer EOG Resources beats first-quarter profit estimates
May 5 (Reuters) - EOG Resources EOG.N beat estimates for first-quarter profit on Tuesday, helped by higher output and commodity prices. The Houston-based shale producer posted an adjusted profit of $3.41 per share for the quarter ended March 31, compared with analysts' average estimate of $3.19 per share, according to data complied by LSEG.
