French and Benelux stocks-Factors to watch

Jan 20 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
ARGAN SA ARGAN.PA :
The maker of logistical bases and warehouses said it expects
2023 rental income to rise 10% to 182 million euros compared to
2022, and announced a new strategic plan including a policy of
self-financing.
EDF EDF.PA :
The energy group said in a statement on Thursday that 50% of
its workforce participated in national demonstrations against
pension reform in France.
ENGIE ENGIE.PA :
The power group reported around 40% of its power and gas
staff within the 'IEG' electricity, gas and industrial divisions
were out on strike in protest against French pension reforms,
adding it did not expect this to have an impact on clients.
EQUASENS SA EQSE.PA :
Equasens on Thursday announced the appointment of Frédérique
Schmidt as chief administrative and financial officer, replacing
Jean-Yves Samson who is retiring.
FRENCH NATIONWIDE PROTESTS:
Over a million people took part in demonstrations across
France on Thursday, halting trains and cutting electricity
production, in protest against government plans to raise the
retirement age by two years to 64.
JCDecaux JCDX.PA :
The advertising company announced a 10-year contract with
CCR Metro Bahia in Salvador to operate advertising of its two
metro lines, effective in March.
ORPEA ORP.PA :
French care homes company Orpea ORP.PA , which has been
plagued by multiple scandals including allegations of
malpractice at its care homes, said on Thursday it had failed to
reach an agreement with investors and creditors over a debt
restructuring at the company.
SPIE SA SPIE.PA :
The French company announced an agreement to acquire General
Property in Poland, adding it expects the transaction to close
in February.
TOTALENERGIES TTEF.PA :
The energy group said on Thursday deliveries of refined oil
products were blocked from leaving refineries it operates. The
company added there would be no disruption to fuel supplies at
service stations from just one day of protests.
VALLOUREC SA VLLP.PA :
The French steel pipemaker said it has secured significant
orders from LLOG Exploration Offshore, in the Gulf of Mexico.
