Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins ease, remain near 4-yr high
Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins ease, remain near 4-yr high LONDON, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins fell by 76 cents to $45.98 a barrel on Friday, remaining near a four-year high on tight inventories.
About 12,200 metric tons of gasoline E5 barges traded, with Trafigura and Exxon Mobil selling to TOTSA and MB Energy.
A further 13,000 tons of gasoline E10 barges traded, with Gunvor, Shell and Exxon Mobil selling to TOTSA, Trafigura, MB Energy and Varo.
Gasoline stocks independently held in the ARA hub declined by around 14% on the week to 752,000 metric tons, their lowest level in nearly five years, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday. Higher exports and limited imports resulted in a stockdraw, Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen said, adding that Rhine water levels are increasing.
Russia's gasoline production fell to about 70% of domestic consumption levels by the end of August after a series of drone attacks forced major refineries to suspend operations, according to two industry sources.
