Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins fall

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins fell 9% to $40.44 a barrel on Wednesday despite a larger-than-expected crude draw and a drone hitting one of Russia's biggest refineries. 
About 5,000 metric tons of gasoline E5 barges traded, with Trafigura and Equinor selling to MB Energy, Aramco and Vitol.
Another 14,000 tons of gasoline E10 barges traded, with Sahara, Gunvor and Shell selling to Varo.
U.S. crude stocks rose while gasoline and distillate inventories fell in the week ended August 21 on higher demand, the Energy Information Administration said. Gasoline demand jumped by 354,000 barrels per day while stocks fell by a higher-than-expected 2.5 million barrels. EIA/S​
The White House has asked federal environmental regulators to allow the nation’s small oil refineries to blend less biofuels into their gasoline and diesel than initially projected as part of the administration’s efforts to ease pump prices, according to two administration officials.
Russia's fourth-largest oil refinery and second-largest gasoline producer NORSI suspended crude oil processing on Wednesday after a Ukrainian drone attack, three industry sources said. It can produce about 5 million tons of gasoline a year. 
QatarEnergy has issued a spot tender offering light and full range naphtha cargoes on a free-on-board basis from Ras Laffan port inside the Strait of Hormuz, traders said and a document reviewed by Reuters showed.
