Announcement of Proposed Name Change
 
At the annual general meeting of the Company's shareholders held on May 15, 2018, the shareholders voted to change the Company's name from Statoil ASA to Equinor ASA, expected to become effective on May 16, 2018. The name change supports the company's strategy and development as a broad energy company.
