March 13 (Reuters) - Italy's energy group ERG ERG.MI
posted on Wednesday a 39% rise in fourth-quarter adjusted core
profit (EBITDA) to 155 million euros ($169.34 million) and
envisaged 2024 core profit in the range of 520 to 580 million
euros despite high volatility.
ERG's net profit last quarter came in at 76 million euros
from 13 million euros in the same period a year earlier, a
strong growth that reflects the financial performance and the
lack of extraordinary taxation that burdened 2022.
The Genoa-based company proposed a dividend of 1 euro per
share.
