First-quarter net profit seen at 307 million zlotys
GDANSK, May 13 (Reuters) - Polish retail chain Dino Polska DNP.WA is expected to post a first-quarter net profit of 307 million zlotys ($84.5 million), down slightly from a year earlier, a Reuters poll showed on Wednesday.
Analysts say the results will be affected by food price deflation and a highly promotional market environment, which are expected to pressure margins. An increase in labour costs due to a minimum wage hike is also expected to weigh on the result, while continued store expansion is seen driving revenue growth.
