Austria's Erste Group acquires 49% of Santander Bank Polska, 50% of Santander TFI
May 5 (Reuters) - Erste Group ERST.VI has acquired a 49% of Polish-based Santander Bank Polska SPL1.WA and 50% of Santander TFI, following an agreement with Spanish bank Banco Santander SA SAN.MC, the Austrian lender said on Monday. The Vienna-based company will fund the acquisition exclusively from internal resources, it said, for a total of around 7.0 billion euros ($7.92 billion).
