3.9 pct to HK$1.89, on track to end its four sessions of decline

 Mia Ouakim as new chief product and brand officer effective
Feb. 1, 2019.
    ** Ouakim, whose most recent role is Senior Vice President
of Tommy Hilfiger Menswear and Tailored, was Vice President of
Tommy Jeans and held senior positions in product and design for
Burberry childrenswear 
    ** Esprit, which plans to cut jobs and close loss-making
stores, has underperformed the Hang Seng Commerce & Industry
Index sector  .HSNC  by 4.6 percentage points in the past one
month.
    ** Stock down 56.5 pct so far this year as of last close
    ** The Hong Kong Hang Seng sub-index tracking consumer goods
companies  .HSCICG  jumps 3.2 pct
