Esquire Financial gains on upbeat Q2 earnings

** Shares of regional lender Esquire Financial Holdings
 ESQ.O  up ~4.1% at $35.71 in mid-morning trade 
    ** Co's Q2 net income jumps 42% to $6.4 mln from a year ago

    ** ESQ's net interest income rose 28.2% due to growth in
average interest earning assets, while avg loans increased 20.1%
to $841.3 mln in the quarter 
    ** Co says it remains well above the bank's regulatory "well
capitalized" standards
    ** On a per share basis, ESQ earned 78 cents vs 57 cents a
year earlier 
    ** Including session's gains, shares up ~13.4% YTD
