Publication of Audited Annual Report and Accounts

 

essensys plc (AIM:ESYS), the leading global provider of flexible workspace
technology, announces that its audited Annual Report and Accounts for the year
ended 31 July 2022 ("FY22") have been published. There has been no change to
the FY22 financial information reported in the unaudited preliminary results
of the Company which were announced on 18 October 2022.

 

Prior year adjustment

 

As part of the audit finalisation process, a prior year adjustment has been
made to the financial statements which will impact the Company's opening net
asset position. The accounts have been restated to incorporate the correct
accounting treatment under IAS 12 - Income Taxes for the offset of deferred
tax assets against deferred tax liabilities where the balances are relating to
the same tax authority. The impact of the adjustment was to reduce the
deferred taxation liability in FY21 by £485,000 and increase distributable
reserves by the same amount.
