Transaction in Own Shares
Essentra plc ("Essentra", or the "Company") announces that on 29 March 2023 it
purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") from Peel Hunt LLP as part of the buyback
programme announced on 29 March 2023 (the "Buyback Programme").

Essentra intends to hold the purchased Ordinary Shares in treasury.
Following the settlement of the above purchases, Essentra has purchased a
total of 231,413 Ordinary Shares since the commencement of the Buyback
Programme and will have 302,590,708 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each in issue.
1,129,357 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. The figure 301,461,351
represents the total number of voting rights in Essentra and can be used by
shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their
interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure
and Transparency Rules.

LLP as part of the Buyback Programme.
