Australia's Etherstack surges to near two-month high on UK government contract

** Shares of Etherstack ESK.AX rise as much as 13.6% to A$0.625, their highest level since August 20
** Co's UK unit got contract from the UK Home Office to supply critical communications software for 14.2 million pounds ($19.09 million)
** Contract has initial term of five years

** Shares have more than doubled in value this year
