Etsy surges after Depop sale to EBay

** Shares of online marketplace Etsy ETSY.N jump about 20% to $53 premarket

** On Wednesday, co sold its Gen Z-focused fashion resale platform Depop to EBay EBAY.O for about $1.2 billion

** Etsy forecasts gross merchandise sales (GMS) for 2026 to grow slightly, expects year-over-year rise in each quarter

** However, expects Q1 GMS to be between $2.38 billion and $2.43 billion vs GMS of $2.8 billion a year ago

** Logs Q4 revenue of $881.6 million, a 3.5% rise from a year ago

** Reports Q4 adjusted EBITDA of $222.5 million vs estimates of $213.45 million, per data compiled by LSEG

** ETSY up ~5% in 2025
