** Shares of online marketplace Etsy ETSY.N jump 9% to $48.15

** On Wednesday, co sold its Gen Z-focused fashion resale platform Depop to EBay EBAY.O for about $1.2 billion

** With Depop sold, Etsy can focus on its core marketplace - brokerage Morningstar

** Etsy forecasts gross merchandise sales for 2026 to grow slightly, expects year-over-year rise in each quarter

** However, expects Q1 GMS to be between $2.38 billion and $2.43 billion vs GMS of $2.8 billion a year ago

** Reports Q4 adjusted EBITDA of $222.5 million beat estimates of $213.45 million, as per data compiled by LSEG

** Q4 revenue rose 3.5% to $881.6 million, but fell short of estimates

** ETSY up ~5% in 2025
