July 15 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on the region's markets or individual stocks.

EU/TRUMP/TARIFFS:

     The European Union said on Sunday it would extend its suspension of countermeasures to U.S. tariffs until early August and continue to press for a negotiated settlement as U.S. President Donald Trump's administration demanded more concessions from trading partners.

BOUYGUES BOUY.PA/ORANGE ORAN.PA:

French telecom operators Orange ORAN.PA, Iliad-owned Free and construction-to-telecoms conglomerate Bouygues BOUY.PA are exploring a deal to carve out Patrick Drahi’s SFR, the Financial Times reported on Monday.

CREDIT AGRICOLE CAGR.PA:

French bank Credit Agricole CAGR.PA said on Friday it was seeking approval from the European Central Bank to raise its stake in Italy's Banco BPM BAMI.MI, which has also had bid interest from UniCredit CRDI.MI, to just over 20%.

EURAZEO SE EURA.PA:

French investment company Eurazeo has entered into exclusive discussions with the European holding company of Ferrara regarding the sale of its stake in CPK Group. The transaction is expected to be finalized in Q4 2025 and should bring approximately 240 million euros of proceeds to Eurazeo's balance sheet.

FRANCE/DEFENCE:

President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday announced a plan to push forward France's defence spending, pledging to double the military budget by 2027 - three years earlier than originally planned - in response to a complex geopolitical moment.

VALNEVA SE VLS.PA:

French biotech company Valneva has announced the lifting of the European Medicines Agency's temporary restriction on the use of its Chikungunya vaccine IXCHIQ® in the elderly, allowing vaccination of people aged 65 and above.

VINCI SA SGEF.PA:

French construction company Vinci has appointed Thierry Mirville as its new Deputy CFO, set to join the company on October 1st. This appointment comes ahead of Christian Labeyrie's retirement in 2026, with Mirville set to report to Labeyrie.
