EverCommerce gains on $50 million buyback plan

** Shares in software firm EverCommerce  EVCM.O  rise 8.7%
to $8.54 and were on course for their best day
    ** Board approves a plan to repurchase up to $50 million of
EVCM common shares over the next six months using cash on hand

    ** As of last close, EVCM had a market capitalization of
$1.54 billion, according to Refinitiv
    ** EVCM had cash and cash equivalents of $101.2 million, as
of March end
    ** If gains hold, EVCM, when went public in July, will snap
its five-session losing run
    ** EVCM shares are down 46% this year
