U.S. stocks rose slightly on Wednesday, lifted by technology shares, though
gains were limited as investors awaited progress on U.S.-Canada trade talks and
eyed a deadline for consultations on the next round of China-U.S. tariffs.  .N 
    At 10:21 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.05 percent
at 26,050.65. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.08 percent at 2,899.81 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.27 percent at 8,052.084.
