U.S. stocks slipped on Monday, dragged down by financial shares, as investors
fled riskier assets on fears that a drawn-out trade war between the United
States and China could force the global economy into recession. .N

26,124.72. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.53% at 2,903.09 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 0.55% at 7,915.383.
