ZURICH/BERLIN, Aug 23(Reuters) - Here are some of the main
factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Tuesday:
    
    ALCON AG  ALCC.S 
    Alcon AG said on Tuesday it would acquire Aerie
Pharmaceuticals  AERI.O  in a deal valued at about $753 million,
as the Swiss eye-care company looks to bolster its pipeline of

    RICHEMONT  CFR.S 
    Richemont wins support of proxy adviser ISS against activist

    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    * Evolva  EVE.S : SIX Exchange Regulation Ltd (SER) sait it
submitted a sanction application against Evolva for alleged
violations of the accounting rules. Evolva said the alleged
deficiencies concerned goodwill impairment tests and related
disclosures, but it was convinced key allegations would not
uphold and that potential deficiencies did not have any material

    * Lonza  LONN.S  : SIX said BlackRock, Inc. fell below the
