Evoke Pharma rises on new patent for nasal spray

** Shares of drugmaker Evoke Pharma Inc  EVOK.O  rise 7.1%
to $1.59
    ** Company says it has received patent for Gimoti, its nasal
spray product to treat moderate to severe gastroparesis - a
condition that affects the normal muscle movements of stomach,
causing persistent nausea and vomiting
    ** The patent granted by the United States Patent and
Trademark Office expires in 2038
    ** This expands Evoke's patent portfolio, which includes the
FDA's Orange Book-listed patents and others in the EU, Japan,
Canada and Mexico
    ** Despite session's gain, stock down ~77% YTD
