    Evonik says it is not ready to negotiate based on BASF's sweetened bid
    DUESSELDORF, Oct 30 (Reuters) - German chemicals group Evonik EVKn.DE said on Friday there were no grounds in BASF's BASFn.DE sweetened takeover offer for the start of formal deal negotiations but it has asked the suitor's management to elaborate on the rationale of its bid.
