       Jan 23 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:
    ** Xylem Inc  XYL.N  said it would acquire Evoqua Water
Technologies Corp  AQUA.N  in an all-stock deal valued at $6.42
billion, boosting its wastewater treatment solutions and

    ** Funeral services provider Dignity Plc  DTY.L  has agreed
to a sweetened 281 million pound ($349 million) takeover by a
consortium backed by investment firms SPWOne V Ltd, Castelnau

    ** Canada's Ritchie Bros Auctioneers  RBA.TO  on Monday
sweetened the cash component of its buyout offer for IAA Inc
 IAA.N  by 28%, valuing the U.S. auto retailer at $5.94 billion,
and also secured the backing of a key IAA shareholder which had

multi-billion dollar investment in cloud-based software firm

quarries of Pioneer Landscape Centers, the world's biggest

surveillance and communications drone programme Zephyr, with the
