Russia's Evraz to sell North American business to Atlas for up to $500 million

MOSCOW, June 30 (Reuters) - Russian steelmaker Evraz has received a licence from Britain's sanctions authority to sell its North American business to investment fund Atlas Holdings in a deal worth up to $500 million, the company said in a statement.

Atlas Holdings said the deal was expected to close in the second half of this year and is subject to certain closing conditions.

The two companies' statements were dated June 27.
