Aug 31 (Reuters) - Broadcasting systems provider EVS
EVSB.BR said on Thursday it was trimming its 2017 revenue
guidance at the upper end, as caution among customers weighed on
its second quarter results.
The Belgian hardware and software maker shaved its revenue
guidance to between 115 and 125 million euros, from 115-130
million euros announced in May.
"New digital players and uncertainties generated by this
changing environment push customers to stay cautious with their
investments," the company said in a statement.
EVS reported operating income of 7.9 million euros and net
profit of 5.5 million euros for the second quarter, both down
significantly from the same period last year.
