Australia's EVZ hits nearly 1-year high on strong HY results

** Shares of EVZ Ltd  EVZ.AX  rise as much as 8.3% to
A$0.195, their highest level since Feb 27, 2023     
    ** The engineering services co reports a 62.3% jump in its
half-yearly profit to A$1.4 mln ($915,180)  
    ** Co reported an over 21% increase in its half-yearly
revenue from ordinary activities
    ** Stock set for best day since Jan 31, if gains hold
    ** About 69,863 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 61,635
    ** EVZ stock up 2.9% YTD, as of last close
