Australia's EVZ hits over 9-month high on positive half-year outlook

** Shares of EVZ Ltd  EVZ.AX  advance as much as 12.9% to
A$0.175, their highest since March 16 
    ** The engineering co says it expects 1H FY24 operating
profit between A$2.5 million ($1.68 million) and A$2.7 million,
as compared to A$2 million reported in prior corresponding
period  
    ** Sees H1 FY24 revenue between A$59 million and A$61
million, vs A$49 million reported last year 
    ** Shares set to see best day since Nov 27 - if current
trend holds 
    ** 141,641 shares change hands, 3.3 times compared with the
30-day average volume of 43,475 shares 
    ** Stock has fallen 8.8% this year as of last close
