** Shares in Exail Technologies EXA.PA drop more than 13% after the French underwater drone maker's H1 earnings missed analysts' estimates
** Exail's H1 EBITDA stands at 44 million euros ($51.89 million), below the figures expected by both Midcap Partners and Portzamparc analysts
** Midcap Partners says, however, the EBITDA miss is due to temporary product mix and capacity costs, which will not be there in H2
** The broker expects sales, profitability and cash flow to keep rising in H2, mainly thanks to new robotics contracts
** Its financial leverage is limited but the outlook remains exceptional, adds Portzamparc
** Exail Technologies' shares, which will be included in France's SBF120 index .SBF120 as of Sept. 22, have soared about 586% so far this year
** They head for their largest single-day drop in 5 months if losses hold
