Wall Street indexes declined on Friday, as President Donald Trump cranked up his tariff assault on Canada, deepening uncertainty around Washington's trade agenda. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.70% at 44,338.44. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.40% at 6,255.64, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.19% at 20,590.66.
